is an artist working in photography and film. Her subjects and slightly absurdist style move between portraiture, art, fashion and visual storytelling. Her work is intimate and stays close to life: carefully directed, with room for things to happen. Identity, the body and the domestic are often at its centre.
Her work has been exhibited at Fotografiska, Stockholm; Foam, Amsterdam; Photo Élysée, Lausanne; colette, Paris; the Institut Néerlandais, Paris; the Verkadefabriek, 's-Hertogenbosch; and the Grote Kerk, Breda, which commissioned her work for One Love, Many Faces in 2026. Her films have been shown at A Shaded View on Fashion Film (ASVOFF), Paris, and she was commissioned by Micropia, Amsterdam, to make the film Meet Your Microbes.
Her photographs have been published in magazines including i-D, Rolling Stone, High Fashion, Rendez-Vous, BAM, B-Magazine and Code, and she has worked on international campaigns.
Her first book, Lucinda Timmerman by Bianca Pilet, was launched with an exhibition at colette, followed by her first film, I Am an Actress.
